Yahoo! Acquires Webjay, Launches Yahoo! Music Blog


Yahoo has acquired a one-man Web company called Webjay.[via SiliconBeat]

What is webjay?

Webjay is a tool that helps you listen to and publish web playlists.

What makes Webjay different?

Like webcasting, Webjay users don't have to download songs one by one and import them into their MP3 player. A listener clicks on a link and their player does the rest. Like weblogging, anybody can be a DJ. Webjay users write the playlists.
