New genuine advantage in IE7 updates: LegitCheckControl.dll

I wasn't know about this until i came across 9down.com. I read one of their post, about IE7 update. This updates your system to resolve HTTP authentication issues in Windows-based systems that do not appear until Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is installed.

Apparently Microsoft knew about the bug in bypassing the microsoft windows genuine validation. They came up with another new validation method, which i think the new method would validate one of the file, LegitCheckControl.dll library. Sadly, there's people already came up with another way to crack it.

This file need to be updated and it was posted on the article by one of the commenter. There's also the installer file available which elimates the need to download the file from Microsoft if you need it. This would not be a good thing(and it never is) to download files from a third party website as it may be virus, or it may be infected by virus. It would always be good to download the file directly from the official website.
